saw a great tip about using a dog training clicker to mark where you mess up a take in an audio recording, because it generates a nice clean pattern in the waveform that makes it easy to spot

just discovered 57 minutes in to recording an audio version of the newsletter that my failing mic cable had disconnected, and my recording software helpfully failed over to the webcam mic that makes me sound like i’m in a tin can. anyway how’s your day going?
